Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician for travel assignments in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, dialysis centers, and outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will assist in dialysis treatments, monitor patients, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of dialysis machines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate dialysis machines for patient treatments.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Set up and sterilize equipment following infection control protocols.
- Assess patient vitals and document treatment information.
- Assist nurses and physicians in providing dialysis care.
- Educate patients about dialysis procedures and care.
- Travel to different healthcare facilities based on assignment needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dialysis technician training program preferred.
- Certification: Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of dialysis experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, patient care skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to accept travel assignments and relocate as needed.
