TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for travel assignments in hospitals, research laboratories, and healthcare facilities. The CLS will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical laboratory testing on blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments to ensure accurate results.
- Analyze test results and collaborate with physicians and medical professionals.
- Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other laboratory regulations.
- Maintain and review quality control measures and documentation.
- Troubleshoot laboratory equipment malfunctions.
- Train and mentor junior lab personnel.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification: ASCP or AMT certification required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Experience in hematology, microbiology, or molecular diagnostics is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in automated and manual laboratory techniques.
- Travel Readiness: Willing to take on temporary travel assignments.

As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist on this assignment, you will be responsible for conducting complex laboratory tests to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases.
