Responsibilities

Conduct ultrasound examinations following physician orders.
Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment.
Assess images for quality and accuracy, ensuring clear diagnostic results.

Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate patient records and reports.
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and facility protocols.

Qualifications

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from ARDMS.
- Additional certifications in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, or Cardiac Sonography preferred.
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience as a Sonographer (preferred).
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound technology.
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel Readiness: Must be open to temporary relocation for assignments.
